Music won't play in Sonic CD plz help!

Hi. I have a perfectly legit Sonic CD iso and all of it's mp3s. Whenever I boot up and play the game there is no music. What is the cause of this?

I'm using Gens 2.12b and this is the only game that I am having problems with.

Can you please tell us how is your Sonic CD Iso? I mean, Iso size, region & how many mp3. You might be playing a beta version.
Also, which bios are you using? Sega/Mega CD model 1 bios are strongly recommended
