help with mame32v95b

hi there, i'm new to mame, just downloaded the file mame32v95b.zip

I unziped it and i put a few arcade roms in the rom folder.

yet when i run the mame.exe (i believe this is the one i need to use) i get a windows message that says: You must run this from the command prompt.

Please help me out, i am not to knowledgable on computer jargon but i am learning slowly :)

ok i've figured out what i did wrong by viewing other posts, and mame32 is now working.


but i have a new problem, the screen is blurred. How do i get the crisp sharp graphics, even if this overall look will be more blocky, i'd prefer it.

at the moment the graphics and colors are slightly "blurred" or "smeared" like looking through a camera with vasaline etc.

Mame32 -> Options -> Default Game Options -> Advanced -> Uncheck "Strech Using Hardware"
