I only recently downloaded this, and im playing FF7 on it. It seems to work fine, until i get into a battle. The bottom bit of the screen doesnt come up. It's just black, and no blue screen with names and hp and stuff shows up or anything. But you can still select things like normal.
So im wondering if there's a way to fix it? Cause otherwise it'll be dam hard to play the game with out the fight menu thingy.

your using ePSxe right?
if not download it an use that emulator
if you are using epsxe then it could be one of thres reasons
1= Bad copy of the game
2=bad configuration >>>READ THIS<<<< (http://forums.emulator-zone.com/showthread.php?t=1140)
3=wrong BIOS use SCPH1001 or scph7502

um im not sure about that ghost ;)
i had the same problem myself when i first tried the final fantasy games. for some reason the plugin i was using wouldnt display that layer. try a diffrent graphics plugin and it should work fine. most people would say to use petes. so i guess i will say it too :happy:

Use Pete's D3D or OGL, then go to the plugin config -> check "special game fixes" -> click "..." -> check "Adjust Framebuffer Access".
If still doesn't work, play with the "Texture Quality", "Off screen Drawing", & both "Framebuffer" lists. Good luck :)

Anyway, I was using Pete's OpenGL2 plugin with Nice setting. ;)
