Concerning PCSX2.07

I have everything I need. I have a bios, GPU, SPU, everything. But when I try to run a game on a disc, it doesn't work. It says "couldn't read the CD". So, any advice for me?

Btw, there are not working PS2 emulators, and if even work, today's hardware it's not powerfull enough to run at decent speed last gen machines like the PS2.
