More Mame32K questions

1.Why can't I play metal slug 1 when I can play metal slug 2, 3, and x? when I audit the games, it shows this for mslug:

2.How do I save games while using Mame32k? Under the general input, save is S and load is L and load save state is F1. i keep getting loading error. maybe i'm not saving correctly, but could someone list step by step how to do this for any game on mame32k(both offline/online)

1.- Your mslug ROMs are not correct, maybe it's an older set. Mame it's reporting the CRC32 (a kind of file integrity check) it's different from what should be. I can only say you to download a newer or unpatched mslug set

2.- I don't know how is workig this featureon Mame32k, as I don't use it, but on most Mame versions save state function is assigned to keys <Shift>+<F7> , then select your save slot form <0> to <9> . Loading is pressing <F7> and select the slot you want to load.

3.- Are you sure mslug4 is available on mame32k? Check the "All Games" folder when on mame32k, you'll know it there. Hope it helps :)
