PSXeven Controller Issues

I just downloaded PSXeven but am having trouble configuring the controller. Everytime I set the keys, although it says they are what I have changed them to, in the game they remain as the defaults which is a BIG problem since the save state key is the same as the pause key...

Any help would be much appreciated

Use the other controller's plugins, but will check with mine afterwards. ;)
