It seems none of the four Playstation 1 cores (Beetle PSX HW/Beetle PSX/Duckstation/PCSX ReARMed) support the ISO file type.
There is only an ISO image of 'Grand Theft Auto 2' available in the net, so it is not possible to play that game with Retroarch. I created a cue file, but that doesn't work, too.

Make sure your cue file has the following text in it:
FILE "Grand Theft Auto 2.iso" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
And it will have a chance to work.

Duckstation core plays the game when choosing the cue file instead of the ISO File with bad performance.
Other ps1 cores don't Play it at all.

Just copy the iso you downloaded in the SD card of your device, load the core you want in retroarch and then select the iso.
Last time I checked, that worked. I do not have retroarch right now on any android devices so I can try again.
