Hi there,

I have been trying to play F-Zero on Dolphin but the game slows down all the time. I'm sure my mac has enough spec, but it is 8 years old. To me the PC does seem slower since the day I bought it, but do you think there could be anything else that might be the issue or is the age thing the smoking gun? Because I can't run F-Zero even with no other application open other than Dolphin and I seem to be using the most general and performance friendly settings on the emulator.

Any thoughts would be great. Cheers guys.

Well, setting like internal resolution can increase the GPU load most other setting are better of at default with the exception of backend which is trail and error. I not use to mac but most of the should apply.

So I think you might want to try use the metal to vecuken wrapper to help with speed.
