problem with playing playstation2 games

Hi.
I have several questions about pcsx.
1. Can I run all playstation2 games with Pcsx or it's limited .
2. Do I need DVD-rom to play playstation 2 games.
3. Do I need to insert games CD into the CD-rom to play them .
4. I creating an image from my game CD in my hard . When I run it with Pcsx ,
the game does not start. What do I do?

1. Can I run all playstation2 games with Pcsx or it's limited .
PCSX is Playstation emulator. Perhaps you mean PCSX2? Whatever the PS2 emulator is, it can't play PS2 games fully as it is still in WIP.

2. Do I need DVD-rom to play playstation 2 games.
I believe you'll need the DVD-ROM to play playstation 2 games ONCE the fully compatible PS2 emulator is out.

3. Do I need to insert games CD into the CD-rom to play them .
