Hello everyone,
I have an old, black Revision 6 WII system that I no longer use, I was told that they are great for emulation. Can I use this unit as an emulator for older/different console systems and how would I go about doing so?
Thank you,
SteveG

Yes, I use my that way. Things to know.
1) Softmod Any Wii (Version 1.0 - 4.3) https://www.instructables.com/id/Softmod-any-Wii-Version-10-43/.
2) for 4.3 and older https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Softmod-Your-Wii-43-UEKJ/
3) load up a bunch of roms and get the emulators. I can not mention how to get roms but here is a link to the emulators how to https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjv0Pvcg5niAhXHna0KHURuAGcQFjABegQIDRAK&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dwj gdQRJGcrs&usg=AOvVaw2p5OMpsHvCNINRoML701RV
4) And as you may know, the wii classic controller sucks! Just use the USB ports and the Bliss-Box adapter (Bliss-Box.net). If that is too much your left with trying various adapters to get them working or use the classic controller on the wii-mote.

Thank you so much for the information ulaoulao ... will this work 100% with Revision 6? All I want to do is play all the marios that I can get on this thing!

To the best of my knowledge no Wii has troubles with softmods.
