nullSPU 0.4 (plugin)

Here is a PS1 plugin called ''nullSPU.0.4''. The sound is disabled when you use that plugin. It's under ''Playstation Plugins & Utilities!'' (if you click ''Playstation'' on the left side, on the right side, above, you will see ''Plugins-Utilities'', click that link).

Does anyone know who the author of the plugin called ''nullSPU 0.4'' is (it's under ''Download Sound Plugins'')? Or where do I find the homepage?

The ''homepage'' link doesn't work. It says ''emulator-zone'', so I suppose it was uploaded by a member here who used this site as ''his homepage''?

I thinks it's pretty impossible to find this out, but whatever, asking doesn't hurt.

Pretty old thread but it deserves a reply. If you load the file itself in epsxe and go to the "about" settings of the file it says:


No Sound - Silence Driver
Sound Processing Unit

(C) 1998 Vision Thing

As you can see it is pretty old so it should not be needed by most modern PCs given how good they are nowdays (it was used to save processing power?).
