Help with Suikoden saves epsxe 2.0.5

Hello, I saved Suikoden with use individual memcards by game. I have renamed the saved in the folder to epsxe000.mcr and 001. When I am trying to load from the main menu I click Continue game and the game stops doing anything. The menu disappears but the background is still there. The music stops as well, any thoughts. I am new to emulation

i was find solution :

Try saving & loading like this:

Press ESC to exit the game and bring up the ePSXe window.
Go to Run > Save State > Slot 1.

Then when closing ePSXe, always use File > Exit to make sure it exits properly.

And to load the save state, try Run > Load State > Slot 1.

how was emulator closed you use exit or end emulator process.
