Xebra issues windows 10

Had xebra working well with windows 8. Upgraded to Windows 10 and now it starts up choppy with major slowdown. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and if there may be a solution. I've tried running it in compatibility mode. And I've downloaded multiple versions including the latest that I'm aware of. Nothing seems to work.

Just guessing here... if Xebra uses DirectDraw, then it's going to have problems in Win10.

This is because Microsoft removed hardware support of DirectDraw and replaced it with a very slow software renderer.
