There's this Xbox exclusive game that I really loved back in the day, and I'd like to play it again. How does this whole emulation thing work? Do I just download an emulator, and copy the games to the correct folder and play, or is there more to it?

Huh ? xbox emulation is not complete you cant play in many games its not accurate emulators are :
xqemu and cxbx man you are insane im not joke im dont know how you will play .
on "EXPERIMENTAL" emulators !

No need to make people feel dumb for asking a question. There is a sticky called
"Configure You Xbox Emulator Here!" https://forums.emulator-zone.com/showthread.php?t=2204 It explains why you cain't.
