im pretty much have the emulator working but when it loads up the game its really slow.

What emulator, what game, what kind of PC? Throw me a freaking bone here.

sorry, the pcsx2 emulator, and madden 2005, and a vaio laptop, 2.5 ghz, 512mg ram, if its madden what games do work.

OK, PS2 emulators haven't been perfected. As a matter of fact I wouldn't even call them usable. Try to emulate a different console and perhaps one day soon they'll make some advances in PCSX2. You could try to find some of your favorite PS2 games in a pc version, but I can't tell you where to find them on this forum except to say Google.
