I can't run GBC roms in VBA.

hi, i have pokemon crystal and vba on mac os, and when i open the rom, it turns black screen for 2 seconds and then crashes, ive tried multiple times with different roms, and the problem persists, help would be apreciatted. thx, sidenote: gameboy advance games work perfectly

I wasn't able to access that options menu, but the emulator kept crashing, so i reinstalled it, and now it work, thank you so much anyway.:D
