controller not workin

i've finally got my game cube emulator working! except for the controller, right now am trying to use a normal 8 buttoned pc control pad and its jus not responding, the up and down keys on the keyboard work tho :msn_confu
Anyone go any suggestions??? :mad:

Since I don't have the emulator to see the problem, have you tried to switch something from "Keyboard" to "Gamepad" or something like that?

yes theirs a drop arrow in the innput pad options but it only has one option and thats dolphin controller :(

I would suggest a more configurable plug-in. Either that, or get a USB controller converter - there are loads of different ones available on the net.

If there is a mode button try engaging it and see if that fixes it.

maz have u calibrated your controller on your pc and like got all the software installed for it. have u tried setting it to dolphin controller then configure the controller with that setting. it might jus say dolphin controller cos thats the old name for the gc.
