Any rhythm/music game that can be controlled with a MIDI keyboard(piano)/controller?

I have a Casio WK-6500 which can work as a MIDI controller which I simply need to plug into my PC via USB and it instantly works - it's "plug-and-play," so I was wondering if there was something like a musical or rhythm game (emulate-able or PC - whichever is fine) or even a program/software that required you to use a MIDI device to control the game/software, so I could have fun, play a video game and learn piano at the same time? :o Kind of like "Rock Band 3" except for PCs or consoles/handhelds before/around the 6th generation? I have a low-end corei3. I can run up-to Wii games but they lag very much.

You can try to emulate Rock Band 3 using the Dolphin emu. On my shitty computer, it runs pretty good (I have a i3 330m).
