Help playing WINNING POST on Acer Iconia Table

I love love love WINNING POST by Koei--that was made for the Sega Saturn. I've just discovered that I can play it on my Acer Iconia Tablet using Saturn.EMU. The game loads, but the problem is that as soon as I get to the start up screen for Winning Post, I'm stuck at the opening screen. None of the on-screen buttons seem to work, and I don't know how to get past this screen. I would love to have this app and game work on my tablet, as I am taking a 14 hour train trip. Are there things that I need to do in the options to get this game to advance. I am open to any and all suggestions! I purchased a bluetooth controller, but it' doesn't seem to work, and I used a keyboard, and that didn't want to work either. HELP!

I love Winning Post too. I have the game and I'm fortunate to have the original CD. I've had the game for 19 years now. I have not played it consistently, though.
If you have the CD and a CD/DVD drive, I recommend you download SSF. It is the _best_ way to play the game.
