Hello folks,

first post here....

I am looking for a tool that searches the web for information / screenshots about emulated games.

The goal is to get information that displays nicely in an open source HTPC application (called MediaPortal btw, http://mediaportal.sourceforge.net ).

Tools I've used so far:

* myGames (http://www.getmygames.com )
* Game Collectorz (http://www.collectorz.com/game/ )

both are ok but both have disadvantages (too buggy / too expensive).

Does anybody know about similar tools that could be alternatives?

Cheers,

Daniel

btw: to get an idea how this looks like:

What part of myGames were you having difficulty with?

Maybe I can help.

Try google, google images might even have some screen shots if you search for them.

Isn't it easier to use a mutiple emulator frontend, such as GameBase or MAMEwah?

sorry this steers a little off-topic but do those programs auto search the info or do you have to manually do it. i spent five hours one saturday just getting pics of the cartridges of my games.
