I CAN'T SAVE!!!!!! (MAC) (VBA)

I'mm playing Pok?mon Fire Red Omega (Hack), and I'm on the SS Anne, and I wanna save the game before I lose it but it won't let me save. It says "ERROR-Error creating file Battery Saves/Pokemon FireRed Omega (Hack).sav" Then on the bottom left corner it says in big red letters "wrote battery. HELP!!!

This is in the wrong area, I will move it. You should try using save states instead of battery saves.
