Hi,

is there a PS1 emulator that allows you to overclock the emulated hardware of the PS1? Precise emulation means slowdowns because the PS1 had slowdowns in some games. I'd like to play with solid frame rates, if possible. Some Arcade emulators allow overclocking. So why not a PS1 emulator? Is it not feasible?

For example, Jedi Power Battles slows to 20 FPS in some scenes, but 30 is the cap. I'd be nice playing with a steady frame rate.

My PC is plenty powerful for PS1 emulation, so, no, that's not the issue. I'm using ePSXe v190 at the moment.

not really, because at the time there was no need for that. You may find an emulator that will play frame by frame ( very fast speeds ) and allow manual frame limiting but that as close as you will get.
