ANY way to slow down Visual Boy Advance's turbo speed?

I really do enjoy hitting a key in order to initiate turbo speed while playing these older games so I can fast forward through some of the tediousness, but VBA's speeds it up to about 7000%. I was searching online but not having much luck on how to lower this. Is there any way to?

There is no adjustment for it. Its locked in to the emulator. Only way to slow it down is by throttling your finger.

How about tapping the turbo button instead of holding it? There's no way of slowing down the turbo mode, that depends on how fast your CPU is. :D

I think your GBA's muted .. don't mute in anyway it will probably speed up fastly because the sound has disappeared , if that didn't work then i think nothing willl work lol. I experienced that thing too ... i think you need to switch on the sound ,,
