Chrono Trigger keeps looping

I can't play Chrono Trigger on espxe 1.6, with any plugin available. The intro video plays, then the title, when you try to select new game, or load, or whatever, it goes back to the video. The gameplay never starts. I heard this game is supposed to emulate, so I don't know if I am doing something wrong?

Try with ePSXe 1.5.2. Many people is having problem with 1.6...

that is defindently what you need to do & another thing is that unless u got a crazy ass sound or graphix cards, dont change the original plugins that come with the epsxe, just use the ones givin, they work the best!!
