how do I play my paper mario game on dolphin it won't load

I downloaded mario but it's an iso and dolphin doesnt recognize it so how do i make it work? I cant find a paper mario game that isn't an iso thanks
does it not play iso?
I opened dolphin and when I go to file - open my game doesnt show up.

Dolphin will run ISO's, (GCZ or GCM), CISO, wad, or wbfs files. The ISO GCZ and GCM are all iso's, same thing and the best to get. When you go to open a file you will see all those option there. If the file is not showing up, chances are its rar'd or zipped up. If you can't figure this out then right click on the file and go to properties and screen shot it for us.

it says its a .sfv file i guess but it took a long time to download its gotta be somethin, i downloaded paper mario from emulator zone then unzipped it and its got like 3 files all .sfv

ok i got it to run but it's slow so how can i make it go faster? it wont let me post pic of my stuff but what are some basics?thx
