The game runs smooth but when i go into a course it slows down completely and is unplayable. it gets fuzzy and is ruined

Will need to know the emulator you are using and if its a plugin based emulator what plugins are you using? We also need your computer specs.

My computer specs are i3 3220 hd 7870 ghz edition 4gb 1600mhz ram and a 500gb hdd
I am using pcsx2 running with the stock pluggins.
i dont get why it stops working when i get into the game. it just slows down and is just a fuzzy blur when playing
