I am in the process of building a cocktail arcade cabinet and will be running multiple systems including MAME on it. I was hoping to be able to run a NES and SMS emulator on it, and use the Maximus Arcade interface to switch between all the emulators. The problem i seem to be running into is the dreaded 1 to 2 player screen flip for cocktail tables. Ive seen people run NES emulators on them but cant seem to find one that will suit my needs. If anyone knows of a working emulator for this purpose or can point me in the right direction your help is greatly needed.

if you can install nvidia tools there are hot keys for that. Also lots of other fancy tool that do that. Also Catalyst Control Center does it for ati cards.

Im really just looking for an emulator that runs NES games but has function controls similar to MAME.

Nope, never... Mame has a very specific need for this. If you get lucky you may find an emulator that does it but not nes I'm pretty certain there. With xpadder or other like app you can assign hot keys to a button combo if you want to do it with no keyboard.

You could try MESS. The setup is the same as MAME.
