Hey guys. I have been using Dolphin 3.5 to play Fire Emblem Path of Radiance lately(its the only game I have really played using Dolphin). It ran smoothly, with speed between 98%-100% with FPS between 58-60, but it would crash every so often, so I upgraded to Dolphin 3.5-2259. Ever since then it has only crashed once but now it runs at speeds between 55%-82% and FPS is 30-50. I have no idea what happened(I probably did something stupid) so any help provided would be awesome.

That is normal, the revisions are notably slower. 3.5 is considered stable and any revision after it is more, shall we say, bloated. 4.0 will fix that. Look in to speed hacks if you need a speed up.

Thanks. I'll see if I can speed it up a bit and if all else fails I can just go back to 3.5 till 4.0 comes out....by the by....you wouldn't happen to know when that might be would you?

I have problem with changing internal resolution for like 2 specific roms. like Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and Zelda: Wind Waker hd has frame rate issues when i increase the resolution to 1080, i thought the problem was about my system, but there was no problem at roms like Black Ops or Mario Galaxy. I'm new to Dolphin emulator but this is looking weird, maybe changing some plugins could help?
edit: and yes my version is the same as this one.

Dolphin is not a plug-in based emulator ( was at one point ). SMG is one of the most demanding games, more so then zelda WW so that really makes no sense at all. You could try the v-beam hack. If not you will need to drop the question on the dolphin emulator forums.
