VisualBoy Advance "Turbo" button function

While using the VBA, if you goto Options\Joypad\Autofire, you can click one of the 4 options there to turn Turbo on for the 4 labeled buttons. My question is can you edit that somehow to where you can assign Turbo buttons to JOYPAD buttons? Having turbo is nice, but it's not very useful if you can only turn it on/off using a keyboard.

Are you being sarcastic, lol? Yes, by joysstick both I and various other emulators that use the term Joypad/Joystick mean 'controller'.

Can anyone help?

I don't think is possible to assign turbo keys to joystick now. Some joysticks has their own turbo buttons like the old A4Tech EZ Gamepad GP-8
