how i can save in ZSNES

i'm using many emulator that can saving my game progress:happy:, but they just can playing .nes game not .smc:(
if i'm using zsnes,i can play the game but i can't saving my game progress:(:(.
how to save my game in ZSNES:confused:

You can use save state for saving game progress. :)

Commands for save state :
F2 = Save state
F3 = Pick state (have 10 slots available if I'm not mistaken)
F3 = Load state
