Not really. Every signature I'm doing has 10% compression and 10% softness and exported as JPG. It won't be a headache for dial-up users :)

I'm currently testing a php signature generator. Can somebody make a nice Zero signature with a comic style buble next to him as if he was saying something? The buble should have a while background.

I like those sigs very much. I use Photoshop, but that's not the only program I use. My thing is GIFs mostly, and ripping them from games.

GIFs allow you to use animations and transparency effects, that's why they are my preferred image format.

I juse GIF, JPG and PNG. PNG files are too big but it delivers better quality than JPG. My avatar is in PNG format and it might be fucked up on Internet Explorer.

hey what do you guys think of my new sig
(it meets the new regulations that were set, 500x100 pixels and is only 45.6kb)
I want to add some words to the second frame (the first frame is the one that says "Metal Gear Solid") but I dont know what to put there
Im open to suggestion (as long as it isn't stupid)

Im thinking of moving the words "emulator-zone.com" to the second frame, but I want it to look nice with a cool style font. I'm willing to send the second frame
to anyone who can hook it up with some hot letters

Yeah, I had to recompress the images to make them smaller in size,
the lighting on the second frame was alot better before I recompressed
it (that took away alot of the quality to make it smaller in size [Originally: 79.9kb-Now:46.5kb])
But im gonna see if could make it better

Well, I've decided to move away from SquareEnix (kingdom hearts) for a while and go for Capcom.

My avatar is Dante from DMC2 (which I think he looked the coolest although the game sucked)

My sig is from all 4 DMC games. The DMC logo is from DMC1; the pic on the top right is the same as my avatar; the pic on the top left is from DMC3; and the background pic is from the DMC4 trailer.

Ok I made some more FFVII sigs. These are pretty simple but sometimes simple is good. :)

Basically, I took cropped the the Cloud/Sephiroph pic from the wallpaper and added a frame from the E3 trailer (the wispy cloud things)

There's 5 different versions. Each one I used a different blending option (lighten, luminesence, etc...)

Let me know what you think.
