I'm setting up my SNES emulator and I went with SNES9X. However, when running Mortal Kombat, there is a continuous clicking sound repeatedly happening in the emulation (non-stop). This happens on both my desktop and my laptop, so I've ruled out there being a hardware problem on my system.
I have literally tried turning off/on every combination of settings I can think of and nothing works. However, many other games emulate fine with no sound issues (Super Mario World, Mortal Kombat 2 for example).
Any idea what's causing this or how to resolve it in-case I have the same problem with other SNES games on this emulator?
Thnx
