View Full Version : PS4 easier to emulate due to x86 architecture?

Since the ps4 will be using x86 architecture which is basically a pc. Will it be easier to get a emulator going unlike the ps3? obviously there's stuff like the security to hack ,then dumping the bios etc however the x86 should make the process easier would it not?

I don't think so.Both Xbox Consoles are based on a x86 architecture and the emulator for the Xbox emulates just one game (For now),and there isn't even a working Xbox360 emulator.Don't come to conclusions that fast.Just wait for it.

not by much. It will only make the mapping easier. The difference will not be noticeable to the wait time of the emulator. Still expect emulation talk in 2020 +
