Yes, I admit I'm using cheats for almost every game :o
But the problem is, you can only use 45 codes at the VBA 1.8 Bèta.
Does somebody knows how I can use more cheats...
Maybe with an add-on, an special VBA version or even another Emulator.

How to use the cheatlist by Martijn:
Get to the window:
Start your VBA.
Goto 'Cheats » Cheat list...'
Now a new window opens where you can add cheats.
Button Explanations:
Code :: This is for VBA codes, you can enter them at the cheat button to.
Cheat :: This is for VBA codes, here you can only add one but you have more options.
GameShark :: Add GameShark codes here (www.gameshark.com)
CodeBreaker :: Add CodeBreaker codes here (www.codebreaker.com)
Remove :: Select a cheat from the list and press this button to delete it.
Remove All :: This will delete all cheats in your cheatlist.
Enable/Dis. :: Select a code and use this button to Enable or Disable it.
OK :: Just a normal OK button, it will close this window.

Hope you can use this.
I asked this question somewhere else to and I had to post this thing about how to use it there to...
I just want a answer on my question :(

I can not work the cheats :msn_confu

I've gone to game shark and copied the codes, and stuck them in the section where it says "Ad GameShark"
but it says

" Invalid GameShark Code "


Any ideas?

Any advice on how to work codes on a mac? For the life of me, i cant figure it out, and browsing other posts didnt help me much.

hmmm ive always wandered how to put cheats on vba thanks for the info, but i cannot help no one out... im a noob u see

ugh this has been answered so many times in other forums
anyways, just go to gamefaqs.com
find your game, and select faqs/walkthroughs
scroll down until u see the action replay section
use action replay codes in the gameshark section
make sure u read carefully how to use each specific code

i do not, however, know how to expand the number of useable codes.

When i go to enter a code in the mac version of VBA, i am greeted with 6 lines.

I cannot figure out the proper way to insert the master code, or codes with more than one line.

I tried placing multiple lines of code in one line of the screen, says improper format. I try placing each line of code in its own line, nothing.

how to enter codes into visual boy...

1. first load a game in visualboy

2. go to cheats>cheat list, you will see this screen

-> at this screen you can either enter code,cheat,gameshark,codebreaker<-
(i choose gameshark)

3. i use gameshark because its easyer... anyway goto (http://xs.gameshark.com/xploder/xploderui.asp?a=codes&username=gameshark&tab=gc&s=&uid=&fs=) then choose handheld and so on.. or top right you can search game .anyway get to the code page

4. then copy code from website to visual boy .. i sugest you highlight and copy it outherwise you could miss type the code.
