That game has a known issue with most video plugins that goes slow.

Make sure you are not using the RGB emulation on the Graphics Plugin. That stuff makes the game really slow.

im not using rgb emulation.. i checked and i am using Direct3D HAL, and what is Anisotropic filtering? does that deal with anything? eh... i think i am just screwed :(

Mmm... I don't know. My games are running well (more than 60 fps).

This is my video config:

PLUGIN: Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5.1

Video Card: MSI ATI RX9200
Rendering Device: Direct3D HAL
Anisotropic filtering: 0X
Sort Independient Anti-aliasing: Disabled
Full Screen Resolution: 640x480 16-bit
Buffer Display Mode: Transfer Memory
Windowed Resolution: 640x480
Hide Advanced Settings: Enabled

This is my sound config:

PLUGIN: Jabo's DirectSound 1.5

Sync Game to Audio: Disabled (for choppy sound, enable)

That should gives you a fine gameplay.

Well, if it's corrupted, the ROM wouldn't load at all. Have you tried with another N64 emulator? And asking for ROMs is not allowed here.
