VBA Mac Emulator issues (cheat problems) for Pokemon Light Platinum

If you aren't familiar with Pokemon Light Platinum, it is a mod, made for GameBoyAdvanced which is a compilation of all of the games leading up to Black and White, that can be emulated on VBA. I am having so much difficulty beating the first Elite Four in this game. So much so that I need to spawn in rare candy or hyper potions or max revives etc. I know it is easier to do this on PC but i do not have a pc i have a mac. Any suggestions or help?

i am having the same problem i have tried about every code i could find it seems like none of them work

Since it is a modified game, I don't think that the cheat addresses would be the same. I think you will just need to beat the elite four without cheats, XD
