emulator help (prject64)

Hi, im using project64 on ubuntu 12.04LTS and im using wine to run it
when i try to run it it says audio plugin missing/invalid.
i really want to use the emulator so can someone help me please?!

If you are running Linux, then why don't you try out Mupen64?

i cant get mupen to run, whenever i try to run it, it says something like roms missing or something and i cant get it to start

update: i got it to start manually but i cant set up controls and it wont play audio.
i dont even see the settings bar either

which version of Mupen64 are you working with?

Have you tried the official Mupen64? http://mupen64.emulation64.com/down.htm Pardon me, because I think it's so obvious that I don't want to insult intelligence. :P

hmm, Im about to install your operating system on my computer and I will try to get an N64 emulator working. :)

Haha, so far this is a very alien OS, I haven't yet tried it, so I am having trouble myself figuring out how to get programs to work, its just nothing obvious. Might take a few days before I get any results.
