Dolphin problem

I know that there is a topic exactly on that but there wasn't really an anwser. I want to know how to fix this message on Dolphin. I can play gamecube games but I can't play Wii. I tried 3 different roms of Mario Kart Wii and I still get that same message.

The mesage:

If the rom is the problem, can someone give me a link of a working one please? No we cant help you get a good one. Try to compress it in dolphin. Most of the time bad roms will not compress.

So I just need to compress my rom into a .rar file and then open the .rar file with dolphin?

no. I said Try to compress it in dolphin. Right click on the game in the list and compress iso. This is not a "fix" but may ensure the game is in fact bad. If it does compress try to play it from there.

Ok sorry I misunderstood. Anyway, I can't compress it because it's not in my roms. If I can if it's not there, well I don't know how. :P I never used dolphin before so I don't know anything about it.

you didnt set up your rom locations? its under config in the menus. What type of file is this anyways?
