Cant play star ocean snes

ive had this same prob with the SF alpha rom, i only see squares and rectangles, i think i need some sort of files, where can i find these?

Recently, the S-DD1 decompression algorithm was completely reverse engineered by some really clever people: Andreas Naive and The Dumper. Pretty soon these "troublesome" graphics pack files will no longer be needed to play Star Ocean.
In other words, you seem to need the graphics decompression pack: http://www.dejap.com/so.php

I'm not sure it that'll apply to SF Alpha, though. Wait. Was there a SF Alpha on the SNES?
