yes, microsoft are very aware of what the xbox can do, and are taking measures to stop that. they dont even let you upgrade your hard drive or dashboard or anything

thats a good point, and has cost sony millions of dollars in law suits trying to prevent playstation chippin (i cant provide any source, but what you said is what the judge said in the court case).

microsoft want people to use their original products for xbox live- ie original copy of the game and "clean" xbox. and they every right to demand those requirements for usage of LIVE!.... however, xbconnect is a modders dream ^_^
