epsxe speeds

I'm playing final fantasy IX. I'm running it from the original PSX disk. When I'm in a fight, the speed is fine, but during cutscenes, the speed is REALLY fast.
I tried lowering the FPS, but that didn't do anything.
Here are my specs

Pentium 4 3.2 ghz
512 mb ddr ram
ge force fx 5900 xt
soundblaster audigy 2zs platinum

I'm using epsxe with Pete's openGL driver 2.6, and the default for everything else..
How can I reduce the speed of the cutscenes?

Check the FPS limit box in the Graphics configuration.

Click on Nice option by the time you configure the Pete OGL plugin. Then all will go well. :cool:
