I've never had trouble turning off the sound in Visual boy advanced before but today. I decided to play a game and when I select option "mute" the sound stays on like nothing happened. When I select option "off" The sound shuts off but the game is sped up so much it's unplayable. I checked the throttle and all that and they are all turned off. Should I redownload or something? No idea what to do.

Alright, here is what you do: Turn the sound back on, and then just lower the emulators volume to zero. It should work just fine. :)

When I go to "volume" the lowest I can go is .25 is there a different option?

Hmm, I thought you could. Have you tried messing with mute? I don't see why it isn't working, unless you have to mute it and then restart the emulator.
