Online multiplayer + save states for NES emulator?

Hey everyone. I have Jnes (haven't gotten online to work for it though, the system crashes everytime I try).

What's the best NES emulator for online multiplayer?

I'm trying to play Battletoads with my brother. And honestly, we can't beat that game without having save states. I've read that with online you can't have save states. There's gotta be at least one emulator that allows it, or gives the option, right?

Don't think there's any emulator that can let you have a save states while you are playing online. :rolleyes:

Darn, that's a shame but it makes sense, would probably be too difficult to program.
