Hello. I am using an intergrated graphics card and I'm having problems opening PJ64. When I try to play a rom a box pops up saying "Direct 3D failed to initialize. Then it also says a plug is missing. Can anyone help?

Could it also not work because I'm using a crap intergrated card? Or is it just a plugin issue?

If it says a plug-in is missing you need to acquire that plug-in. What is the full message? Take a screenshot of the error.

Looks like you have no plug-ins installed. What files are in the plug-ins folder?

How do I locate the PJ64 folder?

Nevermind, I found it, but how do I install the pluggins? I've tried doing it and nothing works :(

You got to put the plugin .dll in the "plugin" folder that is located in the "Pj64" folder.

I have tried downloading multiple pluggins. I unzip them to my desk top with winrar and a bunch of files I cant use are just sitting on my desktop. Theres no installer program or anything like there usually is. I'm stumped.

Download whatever plug-in you are wanting.

Un-zip/rar the file to somewhere you can find it.

Select ALL files that have been extracted.

Go to the PJ64 installation folder and paste all files into the plug-in folder.

Do you know what version of Direct X you have? Those errors would pop up if you didn't have it.

Press the Windows key + R and type dxdiag, then hit enter. At the bottom will be your DX version.

Could having no display adapters be a problem? lol

GenesisHell

Try either asking on the PJ64 forums, or downloading another emulator.

Okay so I checked my direct x diagnostic tool and found out the problem (I think). Direct draw Acceleration, Direct 3d acceleration and AGP texture acceleration are all disabled and I dont know how to enable them. Any tips?

Just press enable.

There is no enable button that I can find... maybe it cant be enabled with my intergrated card only?
