Question about Pokemon Black on DeSmuME

The game Pokemon Black on DeSmuME (Nintendo DS emulator) is running slow.. My question is: how can I run it faster? Thanks for your help :).

All DS emulators run quite slow at the moment, you'll need to wait a couple of years to get good speeds.

You can try using frame skipping, but I don't like it because it ends up looking a bit choppy.
