Hi,
i'm trying to get this rom running:
Final Fantasy III (1990-04-27)(Square)(JP)[tr de Star Trans][v1.00, based on AWJ, NCorlett & SoM2Freak work].zip
(TOSEC 2012-04-23, MD5 9649E91AB63186910EB20258C9109EFB)

It's a translated one and has flaws when running with emulators (several tested). Text is missing (attack, defend, magic, retreat) and a wrong text string blocks the input field at game start when entering players name. The original/untouched rom does work properly.

This looks like bad memory mapping, decrunch bug or something like that. Maybe it needs a special emulator setting or a patch to run. I found several tools for RAM mapping but don't know if these are any good for such problems. I couldn't get anythiung useful out of these though.

Anyone know how to get that rom fixed?
