OK, this is the situation:

I have downloaded a bunch of movies from the Internet and I want to burn them CDs to make some space on my HDD.

The fact is that each movie is too big for one disc so I want to split those movies to make them fit in two or more discs.

Could you tell me which programs are good to? NeroVision Express is troubling my life.

And another thing... Video converters. Which ones are good?

Thanks :)

If you want to re-encode something well, use VirtualDUB.

You will lose quality though.

That's an excellent program, but I'm still unsatisfied :(
Gimme more...

You mean it's too hard for you to figure out without putting any effort in.

I want to resize the movie to a VCD standard resolution (351x240 I guess). The movie I'm trying to split has 640x336. It's too large.

You do that and you will screw up the aspect ratio. Try 351x184. Virtual Dub will do that just fine. You may as well encode at a lower bitrate too.
