Killer instinct emulator and cheats

I have mame32 ver 0.95. I have the chd files for killer instinct 1 and 2. I have killer instinct(1.5d) and killer instinct 2(1.4) roms. I have the cheat file version 0.81 for the current mame version.

The latest version of cheat files gives you the option for ultra combo etc. But they dont work on my current mame32 version. I downloaded mame32 vers 110. But game wont work.

Any advise as to how to get those cheats to work?What must I download?Any settings I must check?

I would recommend getting the latest version of MameUI (formerly known as mame32) and the latest cheat file from here: http://cheat.retrogames.com/mame_downloads.htm

No need to delete anything, just make a folder with the new version of MAME and assign the proper folder with the game files.

Give that a go and see if it works.
