Recently downloaded psx emulator in hopes to TAS (tool-assist speedrun) some games. Sadly there was no rewinds or frameslow on any of the 5 emulators i downloaded. Is there a plugin that enables some sort of rewind and framerate slow i could use?

rewind - go back in gametime (so if i messed up i just rewind) they're a bit more practical than savestates
framerate slow - so i can play the game 2 frames at a time, wishes i could skip ahead x frames with a certain key-command.

it'd be a real help to find some sort of answer, i know dolphin has these tools.

Thanks
Regards, Ghosto.

Rewind is very uncommon among most emulators. I have not see that in psx. There are save states of course. PCS (PXSX reloaded) has FPS skipping and limits from 10-200fps in the P.E.Op.S plugin.

Is there some way i could request such a thing? Uncommon they may be, they're extremely useful for "tas"ing
And the frame limit from 10-200 required me to press a button to (in this case) speed the game up to regular speed, rather than slowing it down

Sure, just contact the author. Chances are next to 0 though, as no psx emulators are in development.
