ePSXe not working for some strange reason

I don't know why, but ePSXe Isn't working when I try to play a game on it. The only file I've gotten to it to play was Twisted Metal 2, any other bin file I try doesn't work. When I try to load something like Silent Hill, the program suddenly closes and nothing at all happens. Can somebody please help me out?
